Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

Thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart School. Sacred Heart is a Catholic school in every aspect. Religious education is given top priority. Our mission is to provide a traditional education in a faith-filled, child-centered environment. Our goal is to form Christian boys and girls who can make good moral decisions as they grow to maturity.

Sacred Heart School has been educating children for more than 40 years, and we continually strive to keep abreast of the challenges of the 21st Century. The school encompasses a pre-kindergarten three-year-old program through eighth grade with a 11:1 student/teacher ratio. In addition, an accredited Montessori early childhood program is available. The curriculum is enhanced by a state of the art computer lab and computers in each class; a fine arts program including Art, Music, and Drama; and foreign languages (Spanish and Latin). Seventh grade is offered pre-Algebra and eighth graders may qualify for Algebra I and English I. The students also enjoy extracurricular clubs and athletics. To meet the demanding schedules of our working parents, an AM/PM Care Program and homework classes are offered.

Sacred Heart provides a family-like atmosphere where parents are encouraged to volunteer their time and talents, and along with a highly dedicated faculty and staff, provide the students with role models as they prepare for success in today’s world.

We are confident that you will be satisfied in choosing Sacred Heart for your children’s education. We look forward to serving you as we jointly prepare our young people to become successful citizens in today’s world.

Sincerely,

Cheryl S. Orillion
